He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Paul and Verdia Thomas; his wife Helen Anderson of Cottonwood Falls; his stepchildren, Karen Rains (Steve) of Cottonwood Falls and Brad Thomas (Michelle) of Shawnee; his grandchildren, Elle Heddings (James), Brandon Rains (Lana), Matthew Rains and Taylor Rains; and his great grandchildren, Rhyz, Lynnae, Lydia and Lucy.
