As Judith Marie departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Judith Marie may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Judith Marie leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Mason and Denzel Dickson Mason. She is survived by: her husband Jim Edwards; her daughter Tracy Chavez; her grandchildren, Alex of Emporia and Isayah Chavez of Emporia; and her brothers, Terry Mason of Lake City and Alan Mason of Olathe.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Church of the Nazarene (2931 W 24th Ave, Emporia, KS 66801).
Cremation is planned, and those wishing to honor her memory may send memorial contributions to the Shilo House, in care of Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, P.O. Box 175, Emporia, Kansas 66801.
