She was predeceased by: her father Robert Lynn; her former husband Patrick Byron Gilligan; her husband James Lyle Potter; and her grandson Colten Gilligan. She is survived by: her children, Shawn Gilligan of Emporia, Amanda Burenheide of Emporia and Reanna Slagle of Lawrence; her grandchildren, Tehya Osage, Evan Osage, Calvin Burenheide, Cletus Burenheide, Clyde Burenheide, Brody Gilligan, Korbin Gilligan, Skylynn Naylor and Liam Briggeman; and her sisters, Terry Hippen of Emporia and Tammy Dodds of Lebo.
