It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry L Marshall of Emporia, Kansas, who passed away on April 23, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold E. Marshall and Dorothy M. Marshall (Atkisson); his wife Lorraine Duncan; and his grandson Sgt John Marshall. He is survived by: his children, Michael L. Marshall, Keith L. Marshall (Kim Joseph) of Manchester, Kevin L. Marshall of Wichita, Bradley L. Marshall of Collinsville, Todd L. Marshall (Karen) of Dumfries, Virginia and Lori K. Winegarner (James) of Wichita; and his brother Norman K. Marshall. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Charter Funerals (501 W 6th Ave, Emporia, KS 66801). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Maplewood Memorial Lawn Cemetery (2000 Prairie St, Emporia, KS 66801).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made on Jerry's behalf to the Gale Kahle Memorial Scholarship Fund for electrician apprentices.
