It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Lloyd Nicklin (Emporia, Kansas), who passed away on March 7, 2019, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Nicklin and Edna E. Nicklin (Caspari); his sister Nelda Peckham; his wife Mary; his son Gary; his granddaughter Mary Elizabeth Smith; and his significant other Elnora French.
He is survived by: his daughter Candace Smith (Steve); his grandsons, David Smith (Kat), Paul Smith (Maggie) and Andrew Smith; his great grandchildren, Kathryn and Karrin Smith; and his sister-in-law Shirley Moore (Ken). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
