It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janie Louise Parks of Emporia, Kansas, who passed away on December 14, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rita Marie Ragsdale (Bechtel) and Junior Ragsdale; and her siblings, Anna Bell Ragsdale and Micheal Ragsdale. She is survived by: her children, Rex Parks (Shelly Parks) and Shyan White (Lance White); her grandchildren, Danielle Ehlinger (Matt Ehlinger), Benjamin Parks (Tam Nguyen-Parks), Noah Parks (Sabrina Wollenberg), Lindsee Ratzlaff (Colby Ratzlaff) and Jarrett White; her siblings, Rosie Hoskins, Rita Pape, Nellie Criqui, Alice Marin, Gloria Scarberry and Thomas Ragsdale; and her close friend Wayne Dickson. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
