She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl L. and Ruth Riley (Buchanan); her spouse Dale Parks; and her brother Rod Riley. She is survived by: her children, Brady Parks (Kim) of Emporia, Ashley Goebel (Pete) of Blue Springs, Annie and Lucy.
The family will host a gathering in Janet's honor at the Emporia Country Club on Thursday, July 19, 2018 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Emporia Friends of the Library or ESU Scholarship in her honor.
