He was predeceased by: his parents, James F. Moore and Pauline G. Moore (Carr); and his sister Betty Sue Sayer. He is survived by: his wife Jan; and his children, Shelly Cushenbery (Larry) of Andover, KS, Nicole Tarango (Sergio) of Mesa, AZ, Kimberly Boyd (Mike), Pam Tressler (Doug) and James Michael Knowles of Houston. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and one on the way; other relatives and friends.
