We are sad to announce that on October 7, 2019, at the age of 70, Howard Blender (Emporia, Kansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Trudie K. Long; his daughter Shannon Blocker (Jim); his grandchildren, Lauren of Westmoreland, David of Westmoreland and Callie Thomsen (Jeremy); his great grandchildren, Jenna of Lamont and Corinne Patterson (Tom); his sister Sharon Gardner (George) of Saint George; and also Clara of Strong City.
