It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harry L. Stephens of Emporia, Kansas, born in Winfield, Kansas, who passed away on August 29, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John James and Nina E. Powers Stephens; and his brother Roger Stephens. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Stephens of Emporia; his children, James Stephens (Elizabeth) of Prairie Village and Rachel Stephens (James Stutsman) of Kansas City, Missouri; his grandchildren, Matthew Stephens and Kyle Stutsman; and his brothers, Larry Stephens of Winfield and Don Stephens of Severy.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to one of the following: the Harry L. & Sharon Sue Stephens Educational Fund/ESU Foundation; the Kansas Children's Service League; or Hetlinger Developmental Services.
