He was predeceased by: his parents, Atanasio Torres and Pabla Perez Torres; and his siblings, Lupe P. Torres, Greg Torres, Ruth Luna, Sofia Rodriguez and Reyes Rodriguez.
He is survived by: his wife Delores Torres of Emporia; his children, Joseph A. Torres of Emporia, Damian P. Torres of Emporia, JoAnn Torres of Emporia, Lorraine Torres of Kansas City and Angela Torres Price (Luis Moreno) of Emporia; and his grandchildren, Chenise Robinson, Sierra Robinson, Maurice Smith, Brittney Smith, Natasha Smith, Dante Smith, Candice Price and Andres Moreno. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
