He was predeceased by: his parents, Herschal Harper and Marlys Harper (Zernickow); his son Troy; and his granddaughter Destiny (Rosie Harper). He is survived by: his close friend Judy Cudworth; his daughters, Shanna Harper of Emporia and Linda Morrill of California; his siblings, Ron Hill (Cathy) of Marceline, MO. and Janet Farmer (Steve) of Marceline, MO.; his half-sisters, Judy and Vicki; his grandchildren, Kori "Nikki", Ashley, Justin and Cody; his great grandchildren, Lincoln, Taylor, Joey and Makiah; and his great great grandchildren, Charlotte and Oakley.
