He is survived by: his children, Brent Schmidt (Cindy) of Emporia, KS, Toby Schmidt of Emporia, KS, Christina Strauss (Mike) of Junction City, KS and Wendy Miller of Manhattan, KS; and his siblings, Karen Czibik of North Port, FL and Scott L. Schmidt of Emporia, KS. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
