She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Nuessen and Agnes Nuessen (Miller); her husband Charles Duane Liggett; and her children, Fredrick Eugene and Charlene Kay.
She is survived by: her son Richard Lee; her sisters, Bernadine Kehres of Emporia, KS and MaryAnn Coffman of Emporia, KS; her son Richard Liggett (Diane) of Reading, KS; and her grandchildren, Rhonda Harder (Dan) of Emporia, KS, Jody Johnson (Darren) of Olathe, KS, Jeremiah Liggett (Bonnie) of Allen, KS and Jesse Liggett (Kitty) of Emporia.
