She was predeceased by: her parents, Modesto Tavares and Juana Rodriguez Tavares; her husband Patricio Alvarado of Catherine's Catholic Church; her children, Patricio "Junior" Alvarado and Patricia Alvarado; her children-in-law, Karoli Alvarado and Dennis Livingston; and her siblings, Virginia Lopez, Ramona Aguilar, Lupe Ryan, Frank, Ignacio and John Tabares.
She is survived by: her children, Edward Alvarado (Debbie) of Topeka, Joseph Alvarado of Emporia, John Alvarado (Odessa Green), Duane Alvarado (Kayla) of Emporia, Robert Alvarado (Kimberly Campbell) of Gardner, Jeanne Livingston of Chapman, Brenda Davis (Darrell) of Del Rio and Marie Haba (Chris) of Emporia; and her siblings, Anthony "Toppy" Tabares (Mary) of Emporia, Ernestina Ramirez of Emporia, Mary Harris (Jim) of Emporia and Margaret Henricks (Bill) of Emporia. She is also survived by twenty one grandchildren, forty three great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
