It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Clinton Roberts of Emporia, Kansas, who passed away on October 16, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Randolph and Mary Elizabeth Carter; and her sister Eleanor Price (Ronald G. Mills). She is survived by: her daughter Kitty; her husband John P. Roberts III of Emporia; her children, Debbie Schwilling (Darrel) of Hot Springs, AR, Julie Woodruff (Bill Harder) of Emporia, Ronnie Mills (Gabbi) of Lee's Summit, MO and Stephen Mills (Lindsay) of El Dorado, KS.; her stepdaughters, Nikki Roberts of Emporia and Kim Roberts of Lenoir City, TN; her brother Joseph Randolph Carter II of Port St; her grandchildren, Cortney Pearson (Zell) of Emporia, Justin Schwilling (Hannah) of Little Rock, AR, Christopher Schwilling (Julie) of Little Rock, AR, Andrew Mills of Los Angeles, CA., Taylor Bluford (Chris) of Lenoir City, TN, Molly Mills of Dallas, Dylan Roberts of Lenoir City, TN, Tyler Dunbar of El Dorado, KS, Jackson Mills of El Dorado and Grayson Mills of Lee's Summit, MO.; and her great grandchildren, Zayda Rees Pearson, Malek Carter Pearson, Everett Glynn Schwilling, Ruby Faye Schwilling and Ava Grace Bluford.
She continued to sew until the time of her death making over 1800 Covid masks for a local doctors office.
