He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alfred E. Baillod and Una Mae Baillod (Crumb); his sister Paula Standley of Emporia; his nieces, Robin Emley of Emporia and Rhonda Rupe (Neal) of Enid; his great-nieces, Jordan Frederiksen (Dylan), Jenna Peterson and Janae Wayman (Matt); and also, Maverick Frederiksen and Miles Frederiksen.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Emporia Friends of the Zoo and sent in care of Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home.
