He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Francis and Beulah Pauline Simpson (Leverich); his former wife Helen Simpson; his son Tim Simpson; and his brother Gene Simpson.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Simpson; and his children, Lucinda "Cindy" Young (Barton) of Tyler, TX and Stacey Simpson (Susan) of Emporia, KS. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
