It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Jean Carpenter (Emporia, Kansas), who passed away on October 28, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lewis and Viola May Gosser (White); her spouse Clyde Jr.; her daughter Sharon; her grandson Chris; and her siblings, Herbert, James Jr., Bill Gosser, Ethel Knight, Rosetta Clark and Joann Baysinger.
She is survived by: her children, Roger Carpenter (Jonnie) of Emporia, KS. and Shirley Reynolds (Troy) of Independence, KS.; her grandchildren, Lois Dalrymple of Independence, KS., Lisa Bahr of Phoenix, AZ., Donna King of Grants Pass, OR., Dale Dalrymple of Independence, KS. and Michael Dalrymple of Tulsa, OK.; her great grandchild Mitchel Carpenter of Washington State; and her sisters, Nancy Wyatt of Halstead, KS. and Patty Sue Vogts (Larl) of Michigan.
