Dorothy I. Lucy Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 24, 2021, at the age of 99, Dorothy I. Lucy of Emporia, Kansas, born in Olpe, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Minnie Foerster Hitzeman and Emil Hitzeman; her husband Carl Lucy; her siblings, Wilma Simpson and Fred Hitzeman; and her granddaughter Micaela Lucy Ruybal.
She is survived by: her children, Gary (JoAn) of Seattle, WA, Jim (Michele) of Peoria, AZ, Wayne (Shelly) of Longmont, CO and Janice Lucy DeRemer (Mark) of Sun City, AZ; her sisters, Helen Showers and Marcella Corpening; and her sister-in-law Thelma Lucy. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
