She is survived by: her children, Melanie "Jayne" Johnson (Jim) and Eldon "Wayne" Weeks (Billie Ruth); her grandchildren, Tiffany Henderson (Chad), Jedidiah Weeks (Hirono), Jayme Jo Waltz (Anthony) and Jayson Johnson (Melissa); her great grandchildren, Gage Barrone, Layla Johnson, Jett Johnson and Lucy Johnson; her niece Diane Gilbert; her nephews, Jack Jackson and Marc Gray; and her cousin Diane Patrick.
A memorial has been established with the Emporia Friends of the Zoo.
