It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delores Kay Piland of Emporia, Kansas, born in Topeka, Kansas, who passed away on April 15, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Duesler and Gladys Hooper Duesler; and her husband John Piland II. She is survived by: her children, Angie Reetz of Westchester, Illinois, Damon Krom of Emporia, Brady Krom of Emporia and John Piland III of Lyndon; and her sister Sandy Hileman of Emporia. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
