He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sonny Slater and Esther Slater (White); his children, Matthew Slater (Sharae), Danielle Johnson (Richard) and Cathy Worcester (Tyler); his siblings, Tom Slater (Dori), Mike Slater (Kristin), Rhonda Slater and Kim Dhority (Jim); and his grandchildren, Lenia, Brady Crouch, Charlotte Slater, Paul-Michael, Emersyn, Kohen Johnson, Beckham and Slater Worcester.
A memorial has been established with the Lyon County Hunter Education Program with contributions sent in care of the funeral home, PO Box #175, Emporia, Kansas 66801.
