With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clara Ruth Read (Emporia, Kansas), born in Americus, Kansas, who passed away on March 19, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude C. Lamb and Opal D. Lamb (Finuf); her husband James M. Read; her daughter Sandra R. Moore; her siblings, Norma Jean Lemen, John Lamb, Sr. and Leslie "Pete" Lamb; and her grandson-in-law Joseph Atchison.
She is survived by: her daughter Debra J. West (Richard); her grandson Rick Moore (Brenda Barrett); and her great grandchildren, S. J. Moore (Katie), Molly Atchison, Rolaina Hoe (Adam), Durin West (Andrea), Davin West (Lisa Birney) and Riannon Stenberg.
A memorial has been established for Hand-In-Hand Hospice.
