She was predeceased by: her parents, George William Jr. and Mary Carol Ensminger (Remsberg); her husband Robert Glynn "Swede" Protheroe; and her niece Carrie Ensminger. She is survived by: her sons, Brian D. Protheroe of San Francisco, Stephen W. Protheroe of Los Angeles and Marc E. Protheroe of Ottawa; her grandchildren, Alexus and Cora; and her siblings, Linda Ensminger of Fredonia and John Ensminger of Emporia. She is also survived by nieces; nephews; extended family and dear friends.
