It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles William Ristau of Emporia, Kansas, born in Saint Joseph, Missouri, who passed away on August 24, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Otto, Sr. and Fern Francis Kohlasch Ristau; his wife Viola Verda Macke; his sisters, Betty and Phyllis; his siblings-in-law, Gene, Bloyce and Mildred; and his son-in-law Larry Thurston.
He is survived by: his children, David E. Ristau of Emporia and Judy Thurston (Rick Whitmore) of Emporia; his siblings, Ervin O. Ristau (Joyce) of Overland Park, Kansas and Nancy Condit (Bob) of Clayton, Indiana; his niece Maribeth Rasdall; and his pets, Oliver and Annie.
