With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles W. Walters of Emporia, Kansas, born in Lebanon, Missouri, who passed away on June 9, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Walters and Ruby Massey Walters; his wife Edna Marie Walters; and his brothers, Kenneth and Donald Walters.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kim Nifong (Webb) of Emporia and Kellie Carlson (Ron) of Emporia; his grandchildren, Jay Carlson (Hilary), Lynsey Jager (Paul), Brian Guild (Nicki) and Stephanie Matile (Casey); his great grandchildren, Colin Matile, Ty Matile, Brooklyn Guild, Charlee Guild, Tommy Jager, Olivia Jager, Greer Carlson and Elle Carlson; his sister Wanda Myers (Donald) of Lebanon, Missouri; his sister-in-law Paula Walters of Lebanon, Missouri; and his partner Beverly Miller of Emporia.
