He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, David Bingley and Amye Alta Commons (Davis); his wife Betty Jo Penna; his sons, Steve Commons (Pam) of Edmond and Mark Commons (Brenda) of Topeka, Kansas; his brother Monte Commons (Theresa) of Littleton, CO; his granddaughters, Michelle Carmitchel of Basehor, Stephanie Billet of Basehor, Tina Commons of Wichita, Amy Wiggs of Topeka and Jenny Morrison of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and his sisters, Jo Ann Commons and Meredith Embrey. He was also cherished by 13 great-grandchildren.
