It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bill Tidwell of Emporia, Kansas, born in Kiowa, Kansas, who passed away on March 16, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Mae Shafer Tidwell and William Lawrence Tidwell. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his sons, Lon and Dale; his daughters-in-law, Anita and Sharon; his grandchildren, Philip, Chris, Rebecca, Gail and Olivia; and also Sarah. He is also survived by spouses and five great-grandchildren.
The family requests no flowers. A memorial has been established to the Bill and Kathy Tidwell Family Track and Field Scholarship at Emporia State University, sent in care of Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, PO Box #175, Emporia, Kansas 66801.
