It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bill Kenton Burris (Emporia, Kansas), born in Caney, Kansas, who passed away on March 13, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Burris and Shirley Burris (Robison); his father-in-law Randall Etter; his brothers, David, Luther and Ralph Burris; and his niece Christina Furnas.
He is survived by: his wife Debra Burris (Etter); his children, Eric Burris (Jacque) of Gig Harbor, WA, Amy Tolles (Tony) of Waynesville, MO, Sarah Burris of Allen, KS and Brian Burris (Adrienne) of Allen, KS; his grandchildren, Layla, Jessica, Casey, Shane, Elizabeth, Davie, Deacon and Piper (Carolyn); his great grandchild Everleigh; his mother-in-law Betty Etter; and his siblings, John Burris, Jr., Stephen Burris (Cheryle), Donna Miller, Cynthia Salgado and Jeff Burris (Jeanie).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Bill Burris Memorial Fund to be used for his grandchildren's education and sent in care of Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home.
