We are sad to announce that on July 9, 2019, at the age of 86, Betty J. Brooks (Emporia, Kansas), born in Big Flat, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Barton Harness and Myrtle Harness (Maxey); her children, Judy Sorensen (Kevin) and Eddie Brooks (Vicki); her daughter-in-law Marti Brooks of Emporia, KS; her grandchildren, Matthew Null (Tracy), Andrew Null (Megan), Lucas Brooks (Kari Kirkhart), Jesse Brooks (Shelley Sharon), Caleb Brooks (Stephanie), Kendra Shaw, Ashley Mawdsley (Adam) and Whitney Hensley (Nicholas); and her son Gary.
