With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Fankhauser in Emporia, Kansas, born in Enid, Oklahoma, who passed away on May 3, 2021 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Fankhauser to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Wilson and Hilda Rank Wilson; her husband Verne E. Fankhauser; and her sister Olive Myrick. She is survived by: her children, Darrell Fankhauser of Overland Park and Carol Kohr (Larry) of Elmdale, Kansas; her grandchildren, Jacob Fankhauser (Brittney), Aaron Fankhauser (Melissa), Joshua Kohr (Kristin) and Jessica Conkling (Richard); and her great grandchildren, Reid, Ryleigh, Taylor, Ethan, Drake, Emma, Brody, Ryan, Reese, Jordyn and Kolbi.
A memorial has been established with the Elmdale United Methodist Church and the Chase County Senior Center in care of Brown Bennett Alexander, PO Box 220 Cottonwood Falls, KS 66845.
