He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Monico Ortiz and Juanita Ortiz; his wife Maria De La Cruz; his children, Ashley Ortiz, Jessi Ortiz, Yulissa Olvera, Daniela Olvera, Diana Olvera, David Obregon, Edson Olvera, Edelmiro Ortiz, Durango Ortiz and Monico Ortiz; and his brothers, Mario, Alfredo, Ramiro, Edelmiro, Abel, Daniel Ortiz and Armando Ortiz. He was also cherished by 16 grandchildren.
