With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ambrose Lopez (Emporia, Kansas), who passed away on April 17, 2020 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Lopez and Damacia Lopez (Rubalcaba); his son William "Billy" Lopez (Melissa); his daughter-in-law Mary Louise Lopez; and his siblings, Urban Lopez, Issie Lopez, Antonia Gonzalez and Frances Torres.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Tabares; his children, Michael Lopez of Emporia, KS, Sarasota, Mary Jane Moreno (Alfred), Barbara Tobar, Omaha and Nancy Smith (Scott); his brothers, Reyes Lopez, Gladstone, John Lopez and Thirteen; and his grandchild Twenty. He is also survived by Twenty-eight great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.
