She was predeceased by: her brothers, Paul Lorane and Hubert; and her son-in-law Alistair Parlane. She is survived by: her spouse Edward Leroy Johns of Emporia; and her children, Evangelism, Martha Spacek (Steve) of Central City, Laraine Standley (David) of Lincoln and Lydia Boehr (Gareth) of Sachse. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested in lieu of flowers for Nebraska Christian Schools and Heartland Evangelical Free Church.
