We are sad to announce that on February 12, 2023, at the age of 102, Alberta Annette Brinkman of Emporia, Kansas, born in Hamilton, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Albert and Anna Stolfus (Holmberg); her former spouse Parry Collins Reed; her husband Joseph Jerome Brinkman; her daughter Barbara Greek; her granddaughter Amy Elizabeth Anderson; and her brother William "Bill" Arthur Stolfus.
She is survived by: her children, Philip C. Reed and Nancy J. Anderson; her grandchildren, Christian Anderson, Christine Crump, April Giesmann and Natalie Greek; her great grandchildren, Jeffrey, Justin, Joshua Giesmann, Ella, Reese Anderson, Reed Allen, Garrett and Wyatt Crump; and her niece Kathy Knox.
A memorial has been established with the Kansas Federation of Republican Women with contributions sent in care of the funeral home, PO Box #175, Emporia, Kansas 66801.
