He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Louis Sr. and Helen Chapman (McCabe); and his brother Richard Carrol Chapman. He is survived by: his children, Howard Louis Chapman III of Elmdale, Jeffrey Chapman of Boise, ID, Brett Chapman of Elmdale and Kelly Jo Chapman of McKinney, TX; his grandchildren, Kodie Chapman, Dawson Herrington, Brenn Chapman and Grant Chapman; his great grandchildren, Kenslee Chapman and Lucas Chapman; and his sisters, Barbara Wells of Elmdale and Joy Kurtz of Vero Beach, FL..
