He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Raney, Sr. and Ruth Raney (Grubb); his wife Shirley B. Bednasek; his siblings, Mona Busick, Joanne Blachly, Kenneth "Bud" Raney, Jr., Donald Kay Raney, Jack Raney and Clair Raney; and his daughter Christie Lynn.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Dale Raney, Jr. (Eva) of Fontana, CA, Daniel Joseph Raney of Fontana, Bret Allen Raney (Kathleen) of Yucaipa, CA and Tina Maria Magdalena Davis (Rick) of Ellsworth; his grandchildren, Robert Dale Raney, III (Melissa), Michale Joseph Raney, Nicolas William Allen Hartline, Dani Maria Soukup (Daniel), Kevin Alston Davis (Cassidy), Elizabeth Whipple (Justin), Amanda Papandrea (Ryan), Ryan Perkins (Ryan) and Leeza Raney (Parker); his great grandchildren, Payton, Madison, Mason, Daxton, Davin, Baylor and Beckett; and his pets, Tiger and Benji.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Parsons Funeral Home (307 N Lincoln Ave, Ellsworth, KS 67439). A vigil service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Bernard's Catholic Church (911 N Kansas Ave, Ellsworth, KS 67439). A burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at the Ellsworth Cemetery.
