He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville E. Pennington and Josephine Pennington (Salazar); his brothers, Lance, Gary and Carlos Pennington; and his grandmother Byrdie Franklin.
He is survived by: his wife Edith Pennington of Ellsworth; his daughter Joanna Lago (Tony) of Ellsworth; his grandsons, Ryan Johnston of Ellsworth and Kevin Johnston (Susannah) of Wichita; and his great grandchildren, Johnathan Poirier and Madalynn Johnston. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
