He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kottman and Merne Kottman (Hunter); his son-in-law Charlie Thrush; and his sister Darlene Sheldon. He is survived by: his wife Carol Kottman of Ellsworth; and his children, Michelle Ann Maze (Joseph) of Ellsworth, Daniel Russell Kottman (Kimberly) of Carneiro and Doris Rose Thrush of Holyrood, KS. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
