He is survived by: his children, Jolene Grothe (Doug) of Wichita, KS and Melvin Macek (Kathleen) of Wilson, KS.; his grandchildren, Ryan Grothe (Tiffany) of Knoxville, TN, Aaron Grothe (Melissa) of League City, TX, Michael Macek (Erica) of Wilson, KS and Laura Froese (Matthew) of Ellsworth, KS.; and his great grandchildren, Autumn, Lillian, Logan Grothe, Sarah Grothe and Maveryck Froese.
