With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virginia Ann Kinderknecht of Ellis, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 23, 2025 at the age of 86. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Virginia leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Otto Billinger and Frances Billinger (Mardian); and her husband Robert Kinderknecht.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Schmitt Funeral Home (901 Main St, Quinter, KS 67752). A rosary will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the Schmitt Funeral Home - Quinter (901 Main St, Quinter, KS 67752). Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (202 Cottonwood St, Park, KS 67751). A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at the same location.
