She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Schmidt and Lillian Schmidt; her husband Robert Aschenbrenner; and her sisters, Betty Barenberg and Darlene Schmidt.

She is survived by: her children, Rose Hertel (Jeff), Ricky Aschenbrenner, Rhonda Hadley (Evan) and Roy Aschenbrenner (Holly); her siblings, Harold Schmidt (Myrtle) of Ellis, Opelousas of Ellis, John Schmidt (Twila) of Ellis, Tina Keller (Dave) of Ellis, Kenny Schmidt (Kim) of Ellis and Marlene Schmidt of Stockton, Kansas.; her grandchildren, Kim Robinson, David Bieker, Jessica Brazda, Kyle Hadley, Sarah Pletcher, Rebecca Bittel, Hannah Aschenbrenner and Hayden Aschenbrenner; and her great grandchildren, Hadlee, Jace, Jett Brazda, Emma Bieker, Camilla Robinson and Drake Pletcher.
