He was predeceased by: his parent Killian; his siblings, Frank, Simon, Norbert, Joseph, Gilbert, Victor, Robert, Richard, Andrew, Vincent, Rudy, Isadore, Virginia Emmert, Viola Krazalkovich and Irene York; and his brothers-in-law, Virgil Ruder, Robert Ruder, Gerald Ruder, Donald Ruder (Jane), Wayne Ruder and Irvin Werth.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia R. Lang; his children, Kathy Pfannenstiel (Tim), Brenda Hellyer (Rusty), Karla Wildeman (Jim) and Terrence Lang (Diane); his grandchildren, Kim Dawson (Jeremy), Travis Pfannenstiel (Chrissy Bowser), Russell Hellyer (Sunni), Jennifer Vargas (Juan), Reilly Hellyer, Jordan Gabel (Branden), Shania Lang, Matt Jarvis, Jennifer Keesee (Will), Jeff Jarvis (Emily) and Carter Wildeman; and his siblings-in-law, Allen Ruder (Mary), Darlene Werth, Marge Ruder, Carmen Ruder, Rosemary Schoenberger and Frances Schoenberger. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A memorial in honor of Ron has been established with the National Kidney Foundation - KS, OK, W.MO, 9218 Metcalf Avenue, Suite 424, Overland Park, KS 66212.
