It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Ptaschek of Ellis, Kansas, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on November 28, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathaniel Ptaschek and Catherine Lang Ptaschek of Ellis, KS. He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his daughters, Kristen Levy (Laurence) of Roanoke, Kathryn Kubic (Christopher) of Charleston, SC and Karen Rodier (Shawn) of Evans, GA; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Applegate (Cory), Catherine Belin (Joshua), Ann Clare Levy, Laura Baker (Chris), Matthew Kubic, Thomas Kubic (Keely), Riley Rodier, Quinn Rodier and Gabrielle Rodier; his great grandchildren, Clara, Elena and William Applegate; and his siblings, Edward Ptaschek (Lorrie) and Karen Ashbaugh.
In lieu of flowers the family invited friends to make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the National D-Day Memorial Foundation.
