He was predeceased by: his parents, Verle Cox and Dorothy Cox (Dechant); his father-in-law Robert Kinderknecht; and his nephew Lloyd Tuttle. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Kinderknecht; his children, Emily Mattheyer (Jordan) and Ethan Cox (Britny); his grandchildren, Mason of Ellis, Kansas, Ava Mattheyer of Ellis, Kansas and Mallory Cox of Ellis, Kansas; his siblings, Terry Cox (Mary Tuttle) and DeeAnn Seelbach (Richard) of Topeka, Kansas; his niece Randee; his nephews, Tyler, Dwayne and DeeJay; and his mother-in-law Virginia Kinderknecht. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials made to St. Mary's School or Sheridan County Benefit Walk, or to be used according to the wishes of the family.
