He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick Herman and Anna Herman (Lang); his sons, David and Timothy; his siblings, Theodore, Clarence, Louis, Lawrence, Annice, Lauraine, Lydia, Stella, Bernice and Rita Mae; and his great grandchild Caspian Vaughan.
He is survived by: his brother Leroy Herman (Kay) of Denver; his nieces, Rose Davidson (Greg) and Michelle Herman (Michael); his nephew Mark Herman (Cheryl); his granddaughters, Valerie Reich and Melanie Parmenter (Mike); his great grandchildren, Lacey, Marcus, Roxy, Sarah Davidson, Rachel Meehan (Stephen), Teddy, Molly, Maxwell, Amy Vaughan (Jordan), Skylar, Jason, Ronan, Jenny Williamson (Zach), Benjamin Herman and Olivia Herman; and also Alexis.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (703 Monroe St, Ellis, KS 67637). A rosary was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church - Ellis (703 Monroe St, Ellis, KS 67637). Viewing was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (703 Monroe St, Ellis, KS 67637). A Mass was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
