He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph P. Meis and Helen Meis (Vonfeldt). He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Meis-Rivas (Tony Nunez) and Judy Meis-Cole (Jon Haag); and his siblings, Leroy Meis of Victoria, KS, Kenny Meis (Jeanie) and Edie Braun (Wayne). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
