Christopher Dean left this world on December 2, 2024 at the age of 72, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Helena "Mija" Rorabaugh (Moden) and R. D. "Rocky" Rorabaugh; and his pet Wilbur "Willie". He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Sue Rorabaugh (Hurt) of Ellis; his son Dustin Rorabaugh of Hays, KS; his grandchildren, Taden, Lakyn, Jaxon and Ava; his daughter Rachel Hartman (Jeff) of Shawnee, KS; his grandchildren, Whitney, Ben and Jacob; his daughter Jessica Rhoden (Jeff) of Hays, KS; his grandchildren, Candace and Brandon (Christen); his daughters, Brittany, Carter and Robbi Nartey (Chris) of Edmond, OK; his grandchildren, Josslyn and Jaden; his brothers, Steve Rorabaugh (Jan) of Loveland, CO, Kevin Rorabaugh (Lyndel) of Ellis, KS, David Rorabaugh (Melissa) of Hays, KS and Chris; his pets, Pepper and Myah; and also Angie Zimmerman.
Viewing was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Celebration Community Church (5790 230th Ave, Hays, KS 67601). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to the Ellis County Historical Society and/or The Humane Society of the High Plains.
