Blanche Hilgenberg Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Blanche Hilgenberg of Ellis, Kansas, who passed away on November 20, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Luerman and Mary Luerman (Klusener); her husband Albert Hilgenberg; her siblings, Violet Bennett, Florence Cook, Clayton Luerman and Clarence Luerman; and her grandson Frederick Wiesner.
She is survived by: her brother Drug Store; her daughters, Sue Staab (Tom) of Hays, Sheila Betts (Roger) of Shattuck, OK, Renee Wiesner of Lawrence and Trena Lang (Rodger) of Springfield, MO; her sisters, Vergie Heffel of Luray, KS and Gloria Waymaster of Bunker Hill, KS; her grandchildren, Keith Staab (Diane), Kirk Staab (Jan), Craig Staab (Freda), Charla Heaton (Ashley), Shawn Betts (Lovey), Frank Wiesner (Trinh), Stephanie Parkins (Danny), Brandi Sunderman (Austin), Dylan Lang and Whitney Haas (Daren); and her great grandchildren, Cody, Aaron Staab, Kaden, Kyler Staab, Kiersten, Allison Heaton, Connor Betts, Francisca Wiesner, Owen Parkins, Reagan, Truman Sunderman and Carter Haas.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Christ Lutheran Church in Ellis, Messiah Lutheran Church in Hays, American Cancer Society, or to the Kansas Society for Children with Challenges, formerly Kansas Crippled Children.
